Chemist, LCRA
(Negeri Sembilan - Seremban)

Responsibilities:

Job Summary :

The person is responsible to assist the Technical Service and Development Manager, LCRA (Liquid Coatings Resins & Additives) in providing technical support and solutions, development of LCR application in order to meet annual sales, business and financial target.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist Technical Service and Development (TS&D) Manager and Lab Technician to identify problems and provide solutions
  
• Work with TS&D Manager, Sales and Business Line Manager to identify high value projects
  
• Ensure completion of laboratory development projects and work requests
  
• Resolve customer complaint on technical aspect
  
• Develop knowledge of technology trends
  
• Assist in the generation of updated and new technical brochures, bulletins, testing instruction & Sales tools

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
  
• At least 1 to 2 years working experience in the coatings industry
  
• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  
• Computer literate (MS Office - Excel, Words, Powerpoint)
  
• Creative and inquisitive mind
  
• Able to handle multiple projects and task
  
• Team player
  
• Willing to work in Seremban
