Responsibilities:

• Take ownership for delivering agreed trade revenue from existing and potential trade clients by:
  
  • acquiring new to bank Trade Finance clients
    
  • managing proactively, the sales process, including regular calling of potential clients to book new businesses, and existing trade finance clients to increase the utilisation of facilities and trade transactions volume.
    
  • managing Trade Finance clients together with Corporate Banking Managers to increase booking of multiple products and services to broaden revenue streams.
    
  • maintaining close client proximity and conduct presentations/seminars to key clients and trade/professional organisations on trade related topics to promote the bank.
  
  
• Responsible for planning, directing, controlling and managing all aspects of the branch Trade Operations & Sales activities to achieve the expected level of service delivery, productivity, compliance & control.
  
• Work as a team and maintain good relationships with the other employees in the Bank.

Requirements:

• Diploma /degree holder with excellent results
  
• Minimum 3 years of Trade Finance experience in operations or sales. Prior commercial banking experience is an advantage.
  
• Good interpersonal and lateral thinking skills
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - strong negotiation and influencing skills
  
• A team player with an energetic and flexible working style.
  
• Internet savvy and strong PC literacy skills.
