Ruling Technologies Sdn Bhd is a multi-faceted company that is expanding its software and hardware team in our R&D facility in Malaysia.

The focus of this team is on multimedia, gaming software, communications and device drivers. Currently we are looking to expand our team in the Gaming Input Devices and Console Add-ons area.

Core expertise required comprises design and implementation of hardware, embedded software, host OS device driver and host application.

We support clients from various industries ranging from manufacturing, telecom and consumer products, tooling to gaming.

 Software Engineer
(Selangor - Selangor)

Responsibilities:

  • Software design using C/C++ programming language
  • Software Coding, testing and debugging
  • Support and maintain the software including bug fixing
  • Investigate and resolve bugs within specific time frame
  • Produce technical documentation

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Higher in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Strong C/C++ Programming background, Windows XP/Vista
  • Familiar with Windows Operating System, Win32 API, Windows SDK and/or DDK or WDK, engineering practices during all phases of the development cycle: specification, design, implementation, test/debug and documentation
  • Knowledge of other programming languages and Database systems (MS-SQL, MYSQL) would be added advantage
  • Able to learn and implement new technology and API quickly.
  • Able to analyze program performance, memory consumption and stability
  • Experience with multi-threading, shared resources and memory handling.
  • Strong knowledge in Mathematics and good understanding of binary operations and logic.
  • Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills in English is an essential and in Mandarin would be an added advantage
  • Self starter with analytical mind and able to work with minimum supervision, independent, hardworking and posses the right initiative.
  • Able to work under minimum supervision and meet tight schedule
  • Creative in problem solving, trouble-shooting, able to work well as a team and willing to follow team development guidelines.
  • Knowledge in hardware circuitry and firmware advantageous.
  • Willing to follow team development guidelines.
  • Willing to travel when required.
