Asst Financial Controller / Financial Controller (China)
(China - Nanjing)

 

Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent is in charge of the operation finance (management reporting), US GAAP and local GAAP reporting. He/ she will report to the VP of Finance.
  • Responsible for the total accounting function for the division/cost center which includes leading, supporting and managing the Accounting team
  • Manage the accounting and financial process in order to ensure processes & procedures are in accordance with corporate and legislative requirements
  • Coordinate and oversee the financial aspects of the assigned business segment
  • Prepare Business Unit forecast
  • Oversee the activities of the Accounting Department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal & external monthly financial statements, 12 month rolling forecasts and annual audits
  • Oversee the activities of the Accounts Receivable Department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all Accounts Receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc.
  • Establish and maintain systems & controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company’s value, including complying with the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act
  • Prepare reports that summarize and forecast Company’s business activity & financial position in areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present & expected operations
  • Review company financial statements for accuracy and clarity

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in China.
  • A team player with good management and leadership skills to lead a team of Finance staff to meet reporting deadline.
  • Must be familiar with US GAAP and hands-on in operation finance matters and ensure internal control compliance.
  • Analytical and adaptable to changes and able to identify and recommend changes to improve processes.
  • Must have the drive, commitment and initiative to succeed
  • MUST have experience in a manufacturing environment (hi-tech industry).
  • A team player with good management and leadership skill to lead a team of Finance staff to meet reporting deadline.
  • Able to handle stress and workload in a fast paced environment.
