Bid Manager

Responsibilities: |

- Prepare Tender Preparation Plan and task list for the bid team
- Coordinating and organizing multi-disciplinary bid teams comprising the personnel from technical, commercial, financial, engineering and etc.
- Scrutinize the tender document in all aspects, including technical, commercial, legal, financial, engineering and etc in conjunction with the respective departments
- Lead the bid team for the production of customized and competitive proposal within a given time frame which comprises technical and commercial portions
- To ensure the bid response comply with the agreed strategy in respect of conformity or deviation to/from the tender
- Identify bid risks, assess risk provisions, contingencies etc
- Analyzing and managing issues, risks, changes and dependencies throughout the course of bidding
- Managing and organizing responses to commercial and/or technical clarifications associated with the tender requirements and co-ordinate with personnel from respective department to complete the technical/commercial responses and check against the prohibited clauses set by Huawei.
- Participate, organize and lead the contract negotiation team for negotiation with the customer in the aspect of technical and commercial

Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Strong organizational skills
- Good sense in commercial with business awareness and customer understanding
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Aptitude to self-learning
- Strong personality (discipline, will, energy, ability to handle stress, persistency, stamina, courage and dominance)
- Extensive traveling within the South Pacific region is required.
