Our Client is a highly successful and well regarded leader within this exciting and competitive field of High-Tech Facilities Design & Construction. They have an enviable track record of successful project executions across the globe and require the services of a well experienced Design/Project Manager to manage highly sophisticated and challenging R & D Laboratory projects.

Responsibilities:

• As Design/Project Manager, you will be responsible for the development of all engineering and technical design documentation for these projects along with liaison with local Regulatory bodies and the acquisition of all Permits. In particular, you will also be responsible for detailed and extensive interface activity with the Clients to ensure that their requirements are effectively translated into reality through your team whilst meeting all appropriate technical and safety standards. Once completing the Design Phase, you may move to the implementation phase as Project Manager.

Requirements:

• Ideally, you should have at least 10 years of experience in the Design and Project Management of Clean Room type projects with specific experience in Biological R & D Laboratory facilities. A detailed understanding of the Technical and Safety Standards for this area is expected along with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver the expected project outcomes. We also seek a proven capability in effective liaison with Clients and being able to translate their needs into a competent Engineering Design. Proven Project Management skills are also sought as is the ability to manage Regulatory and Permitting issues.
