Central Asia Cement Joint Stock Company and its related company Karcement Joint Stock Company are both wholly owned subsidiaries of Steppe Cement Ltd, a company listed on the Alternative Investment Market in London. The Group is currently embarking on an expansion plan to increase its rated cement production capacity from the present 1,200,000 tons to about 3 million tons transforming itself to one of the largest cement producer in Kazakhstan.

In line with the Group’s rapid growth, we are looking for a suitably qualified accountant to manage its accounts and finance department in Kazakhstan.

Requirements:The desired candidate should possess the following pre-requisites:

• A recognized professional accounting qualification, ACCA, CIMA, MICPA or equivalent is preferable. Those with degree but without professional accounting qualification will also be considered.
  
• At least 4 to 5 years of working experience preferably gained through a manufacturing environment or/ and audit firm.
  
• Those who are familiar with IFRS, documentation of systems and procedures will definitely have an added advantage.
  
• Candidates must be hard working, meticulous, articulate and keen to learn.
  
• Candidates should ideally be male in late twenties or early thirties.
  
• Proficiency in the English Language, both written and spoken.
  
• Proficiency in computer knowledge and application is a must.
