    Banking Customer service experience
    The good things- High salary, benefits. - A lot of Annual leave is given based on working experience.
    The challenges- too much stressful, - need to stay long hours after working hours to finish pending tasks. - Need to learn itself. No one will help if you don't have an interest in the company. - compulsory to take OT/call back (CB) when required by the company. Will deducted score card if not come for the CB. - toxic environment. Should not have this in the call center environment as we work together and, as company representatives. - Should change management.

    Very stressful environment
    The good thingsAnyone will be able to experience stress at a very high level due to direct communication with customers. However, the experience is very good as it prepares you for other work environment.
    The challengesYou have to be able to control your emotions regardless of the stress level while answering calls/doing management work. But it will help in regards to building up your softskills.

    The good thingshigher than average pay, friendly colleagues and superiors (if you are lucky) and good benefit for permanent staff.
    The challengesNot recommended to go in as a contract staff cos contract staff do not enjoy much benefits and contract staff less likely to turn permanent. Will feel upset when company not renew you not because of your performance but because they want to cut cost. Besides, the position ranking in this company is weird and not fair, will feel unfair when clerks earn more than executive level and executive level often do OT for free (only given meal allowance if u overtime more than 2 hours).

    The good thingsThey invest in people, trainings and also plenty of chance for career progression if you are willing to work for it. I felt it is a fair playing ground, and not based on seniority.
    The challengesMust be willing go the extra mile (put in extra hours), work with people beyond your own department if you want to progress in your career.

    The good thingswe manage to been directed to our manager. Looking good to have a good day and sometime we tend to have slightly unfavorable day. ourselves is the one that will determine the day.
    The challengesCustomer tend was so kiasu and wanted everything to be done on the line itself. but, some customers were good enough. Plus, a high rate of turnover.

    The good thingsBanking facilities at lower rate for staff, performance bonus which depends on both company & individual's performance, secured & permanent job scope.
    The challengesLonger working hours, operating hours beyond the agreed working hour (8.45a.m.-5.45p.m.). No flexibility in term of working hours & can't work from home. No fixed allowances and bonus, no OT claims for executive level and above. Staff above Associate 8 will not be under bank union.

    The good thingsThe salary they paid is high and this company knew on how to appreciate staff hard work and commitment. Very well trained provided and you may self develop as you can get everything through internal website provided. You can move forward on your career to higher level if you're qualified and though enough to face the stress/handle the customer.
    The challengesNot suitable for those who have family (kids & husband). As you may need to work on 24/7 shift and your off days not fixed.It very hard to get leave especially during PH.

    Is a very good place for fresh graduate. (This is my first job after I graduated from college.)
    The good thingsLearnt on importance of teamwork. “Teamwork” in terms of switching daily task among the team to neutralize on unequal volume of different type of job functions. That's allow to learn on every specific work process and understand better the colleagues’ style of working and the skill of resolving issue. That's allow to backup the team smoothly and efficiently during colleague absent.

    The good thingsProvided training that is necessary for job scope. Working environment that is lively due to the work nature (a call center) with helpful colleagues and team mates. Benefits and EPF contribution that is competitive in the market.
    The challengesCall center job is not suitable for everyone. Requires shift work and also working on a public holiday. Nature of job requires handling of complaints which may not be everyone's cup of tea.
