OVERVIEW We are seeking a Public Relations & Communications Manager to enhance our brand image and engage effectively with our stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be savvy in media relations, skilled in crafting compelling press releases, and adept at managing internal and external communications. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively position our brand, run events, and handle vendor relationships.

Job Description :
Media Relations :
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media representatives to secure positive coverage and enhance the company's public image.
- Manage press inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Coordinate the creation and distribution of press releases and media kits to effectively communicate key messages.
Brand Positioning :
- Create and implement comprehensive strategies to strengthen brand identity and visibility across various platforms, including social media, traditional media, and industry events.
- Monitor brand perception and make adjustments to strategies as necessary to enhance market presence.
Content Creation :
- Write, edit, and publish engaging newsletters, articles, press releases, and other communication materials that effectively convey the company’s messages and align with brand voice.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and information for content development.
Event Management :
- Plan, coordinate, and execute company events such as press conferences, product launches, community outreach initiatives, and corporate functions.
- Oversee all logistical aspects, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and attendee engagement.
Stakeholder Engagement :
- Act as a liaison with government ministries, industry associations, and other key stakeholders to promote the company's interests and ensure effective communication.
- Develop and maintain a stakeholder engagement strategy to foster positive relationships and collaboration.
Crisis Communication :
- Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to address and manage potential issues, protecting and enhancing the company’s reputation.
- Prepare crisis communication materials and train key staff on response protocols.
Vendor Management :
- Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for various projects and events, ensuring quality deliverables and adherence to budget constraints.
- Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for future partnerships.
Interview Coordination :
- Organize and prepare for interviews with media representatives and key stakeholders, including drafting talking points and background materials.
- Support spokespersons in preparation for media engagements to ensure consistent messaging.
Job Requirement :
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
- Degree qualification in the relevant field (Communications, Public Relations, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Experience in event planning and management.
- Knowledge of the industry and ability to navigate government relations is a plus.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Familiarity with handling confidential information securely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry tasks.
- Ability to provide management-oriented solutions and advisory support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
