In this role you will:
The Product Owner will lead the execution of the roadmap for our ProfitSword produc in partnership with the Product Manager, serving hoteliers and management companies. This role requires an appreciation for finance and data. As a leader, you will be responsible for driving roadmap execution, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring iterative, valuable delivery.
Typical Functions:
In this role, we’ll expect you to:
Product Vision and Roadmap
- Work closely with PMs to decompose initiatives and epics to communicate to development
- Maintain a clear understanding of ProfitSword’s mission, and customer needs
- Demand the “why” behind each initiative to ensure the greatest business value is prioritized
Backlog Management
- Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Development, to gather requirements, priorities and feedback and prioritizing highest business value.
Agile Team Leadership
- Collaborate with Agile teams to plan sprints, define deliverables, and meet deadlines.
- Provide guidance and decision-making to ensure development aligns with product goals.
Performance Metrics and Reporting
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives.
- Provide regular updates on product progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing B2B SaaS products, ideally within the finance or hospitality technology sectors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.

- A strong commitment to understanding customer pain points, behaviors, and expectations. Ability to translate these insights into product features and solutions.

- Expertise in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, optimization, and sunset phases.
- Ability to prioritize projects, allocate resources, and meet deadlines.
- Identifying and building relationships with key partners or stakeholders who can help drive product success.
Location
- Fully remote available with preference for 1-2 days per week hybrid in our Atlanta, Tampa, or Denver offices
- Up to 2-3 days per month of travel to customers and industry events.
