Halal & Operation Admin Executive

Halal Compliance for the F&B division

  • Manage the application, renewal, and maintenance of Halal certifications.
  • Ensure all kitchen processes, from ingredient sourcing to food preparation, adhere to Halal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold Halal standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers to verify the Halal status of ingredients and products.
  • Maintain proper Halal documentation, including certificates and compliance reports.

 

Coordination and Training for the F&B division

  • Provide Halal awareness training sessions for kitchen staff.
  • Work with the kitchen team to establish and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with Halal principles.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all Halal-related inquiries and compliance matters.

 

Operations & governance management:

  • Manage stock takes and oversee all aspects of inventory management, including raising purchase orders(PO) and ensuring approvals from relevant authorisers.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements across the organisation
  • Assist with ad hoc requests as and when they arise.
  • To assist to any other task as and when required. 

 

Qualification:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in food/beverage industry.
  • Good knowledge in HACCP & Halal requirements.
  • Qualified food handler trainer will be an advantage.

Skills:

  • Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Proactive, honest, co-operative, able to communicate effectively with good human relation skill, team player, independent and keen attention to details.
  • Possess excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, outstanding interpersonal, teamwork skills as well as analysis and presentation skills.
