1. Core Qualifications and Experience
• Proven Sales Experience: Preferably 2-5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Sales Methodology Familiarity: Familiar with sales techniques (e.g., consultative selling, solution selling) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Sales Pipeline Management: Experience with managing a sales pipeline from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting Skills: Ability to generate new business through cold calling, networking, and other lead-generation techniques.
2. Skills and Competencies
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with potential customers and presenting product/service offerings clearly.
• Active Listening: Ability to listen attentively to clients’ needs and concerns and respond accordingly with tailored solutions.
• Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively negotiate terms and close sales while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Presentation Skills: Proficiency in presenting products/services to clients, either face-to-face, via phone, or virtually, with the ability to adjust based on customer preferences.
• Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of the products or services being sold, with the ability to answer detailed questions and address customer objections.
• Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently, balancing lead generation, meetings, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and creatively when addressing customer concerns, roadblocks, or objections.

4. Technical Skills

• Tech-Savvy: Basic knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, Google Suite) and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

5. Education
• Minimum Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required, but a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred.

• Sales Quota: Clear sales goals should be established (e.g., monthly or quarterly sales targets) based on company objectives.

o Number of calls/meetings per day/week
