In this role you will:
The Senior Product Manager - Data and Analytics will lead the product strategy and execution for our customer data and reporting serving hoteliers and management companies. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep product management and data experience. As a leader, you will be responsible for driving product vision, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring our product roadmap aligns with our business objectives and customer needs.
Typical Functions:
- Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that supports the overall company mission and business goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends hospitality and finance, identifying opportunities to innovate and data stories to tell
- Lead a team of data engineers and collaborate closely with design, product feature teams, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of key product lines, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and iteration, with a strong focus on customer impact and business outcomes.
- Oversee product development timelines, milestones, and KPIs to ensure alignment with product goals and timelines.
- Engage directly with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gain deep insights into their needs, challenges, and opportunities within the hospitality finance landscape.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to continuously refine our positioning and value proposition.
- Integrate feedback from customers, sales, and support teams into the product roadmap to ensure we are solving real problems for our users.
- Shape a high-performing scrum team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Advocate for the product team across the organization, ensuring alignment and visibility for strategic initiatives.
- Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and career development opportunities to drive team success.
- Creates Users Stories & Acceptance Criteria
- Ensures stories clearly communicate stakeholder needs to the development team
- Work with team to clarify and refine stories
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience delivering integration or technical products. Have an understanding of software development frameworks, functional SQL knowledge, and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Sisense)
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT process and tools (DBT, ADF, Fivetran)
- Proven success in a 0-1 and 1-N data products
- An entrepreneurial, pioneer spirit with a passion for data
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing B2B SaaS products
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, capable of guiding both the big picture and the details.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
