- STORE KEEPER + MACHINIST/MACHINE OPERATOR
Job Scope A)
- Inventory management
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock or materials against delivery notes or purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse or storage areas to ensure easy access and retrieval.
- Perform regular stock checks and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
- Update inventory records in warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software.
- Stock Handling
- Safely load, unload, and move goods using appropriate tools (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Pick and pack items for orders based on delivery schedules or customer requirements.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of goods according to established procedures.
- Coordinate with machinist regards to dealing with plastic materials as well as storage of post-processed materials
- Handle hazardous materials or fragile goods with care to avoid damage.
- Handles products packagings and wrappings
- Warehouse Organization
- Keep the storage area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and operational standards.
- Arrange products systematically to maximize space and improve efficiency.
- Ensure proper climate control for sensitive items, if required.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, returns, and damaged goods.
- Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with admin for the procurement or sales teams for stock replenishment.
- Equipment maintenance
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, conveyor belts, or barcode scanners.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and report malfunctions for timely repairs.
- Compliance and Safety
- Adhere to safety regulations and workplace guidelines for handling materials and operating machinery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, such as FIFO (First In, First Out) or LIFO (Last In, First Out) inventory methods.
Job Scope B)
- Machine Operation:
- Ability to operate machinery (manual / automated), training provided
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and prevent errors.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances.
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
- Identify and resolve production defects or inconsistencies.
- Machine Setup and Calibration
- Prepare machines for production runs by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and materials.
- Calibrate machines according to technical blueprints, schematics, or work instructions.
- Test machines to ensure they are operating correctly before starting production.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
- Identify mechanical issues and collaborate with maintenance or off-site team members to resolve them.
- Keep records of maintenance activities and report major issues to supervisors.
- Material Handling
- Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to avoid damage or contamination.
- Work with Warehouse technicians to maintain inventory of tools, parts, and raw materials.
- Safety Compliance
- Ensure cleanliness and safety working environment, as well as proper handling of tools, sharp objects, and potentially hazardous machinery.
- Report safety concerns or accidents to supervisors.
- Documentation and reporting
- Maintain logs of production activities, machine settings, and output.
- Record any downtime, defects, or issues encountered during operation.
- Prepare reports on production metrics or equipment performance as needed.
- Coordination
- Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and sales teams to coordinate shipping schedules.
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and route planning, if needed.
- ensure optimizing workflow delivery and processes.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, basic computer proficiency, and equipment operation (e.g., forklift license).
- Excellent if have prior experience in working with store keeper
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
- Time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work and coordinate with team members
- Great if have prior experience in working with saw machine
- Proficiency in operating machinery and using tools.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate to heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail for quality control.
- Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting machine issues.
- Vocational training or certification in machining (preferred).
- On-the-job training or apprenticeships in specific machinery.
- Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Supporting new machinery installations or upgrades.
