Finance Manager
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with legal standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Lead the preparation and review of the company’s annual budget and financial KPIs in collaboration with the department heads.
- Ensure smooth coordination with auditors and regulatory bodies for yearly audits and compliance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and profitability improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and audit requirements.
- Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Supervise and mentor finance department staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions and long-term planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws in Malaysia.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
