F&B Attendant

About the job

  • Greet and bring guests to tables, present menus, and highlight daily specials.
  • Provide accurate information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Take orders accurately and ensure guest satisfaction by addressing feedback and resolving issues.
  • Prepare and serve drinks, food, and specialty dishes, ensuring quality and presentation standards.
  • Monitor food preparation to ensure freshness, safety, and adherence to standards.
  • Upsell menu items, beverages, and special meals to enhance experience and increase revenue.
  • Recommend wine pairings, daily specials, and seasonal promotions.
  • Input orders into the system, ensure timely communication with the kitchen, and process payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, prepare tables with necessary items, and ensure hygiene standards.
  • Reset tables promptly after guests leave and prepare for the next seating.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage inventory, including monitoring stock levels, checking expiry dates, and reporting shortages.
  • Attend daily briefings and participate in scheduled training sessions to enhance skills.
  • Adhere to hotel policies, grooming standards, and operational protocols.
  • Maintain a well-staffed and operational work area, assisting team members as needed.
     

Requirement

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in hospitality is a plus.
  • Previous F&B experience in hotels or restaurants is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation are required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Flexible to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Team-oriented, presentable, and adheres to grooming standards.
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing F&B tasks.
