Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Process payroll for all employees on a bi-weekly/monthly basis.
- Calculate and ensure accurate payment of wages, salaries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, including hours worked, commissions, and adjustments.
Compliance and Record Keeping:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or benefits.
- Prepare and submit required payroll reports and tax filings.
Employee Inquiries and Support:
- Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Provide support for payroll-related issues, including pay discrepancies and adjustments.
Data Management:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data by performing regular audits and reconciliations.
- Update and maintain payroll software and systems.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with HR to manage employee benefits and deductions.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay current with industry best practices and changes in payroll legislation.
Requirement: - At least 3-4 years experience in payroll
- Attention to details
- Able to work independently, resourceful and good sense of responsibility
