The Finance Director will lead all financial operations for our client’s Vietnam entity, including financial planning, reporting, treasury, tax compliance, risk management, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Oversee financial accounting, internal and external audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and risk management activities.
- Optimize corporate tax and other taxes (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, import duties) in full compliance with local and international regulations.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and operational performance.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Cultivate strong relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are highly regarded.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in a senior management role (e.g., Finance Senior Manager, Financial Controller).
- Proven experience in multinational manufacturing companies is strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, international accounting standards, and risk management for public-listed companies.
- Expertise in tax compliance, including corporate tax, VAT, and import duties.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities to lead, develop, and motivate teams.
