We are group of companies engaged in the manufacturing and trading activities. Our holding company is a public listed company listed on the Main Market of BURSA Malaysia. 

We are looking for a candidate to fill the following vacancy in our group office:-

 

ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
  •  Knowledge in accounting, taxation
  • Experience handling full sets account.
  • Proven working experience as an accountant from Manufacturing industry. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Audit experience is an added advantage. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. To manage the entire Finance and Accounting Department and ensure proper accounting records and systems are well maintained.
  2. Fully responsible for all Financial & Management Accounting functions of company:-
  • Timely submission & reporting of monthly & Quarterly Management Accounts.
  • Treasury Management (Cash Flow & Banking Operations).
  • Inventory Management & Costing (Stock Control & Valuation)
  • Credit Management (Effective management of AR)
  • Cost Control Management (Effective management of costs to minimize wastage)
  • Operating Company's computerized accounting system and IT controls.

3.  To prepare, compile & monitor the company's annual budgets, forecasts & projections. 

4.  To facilitate and prepare risk management reporting on ongoing basis.

5.  To handle all taxation matters of the company; ensuring compliance of all statutory requirements. 

6.  To review, implement and monitor accounting & financial policies and procedures incorporating internal controls on an on-going basis. 

7.  To liaise with Government Authorities on matters pertaining to Customs & Excise Dept, Statistics Dept, MIDA, etc.

8.  Assisting Group Financial reporting requirements from time to time as assigned.

9. Liaise with Auditors on year end audit and financial reporting matters.
