Mechanical Design Engineer/Robotic Engineer
Roles And Responsibilities :-
Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Develop mechanical system design hardware for projects assigned.
- Liaise with system control department in optimizing equipment performance.
- Design and create a pneumatic schematic diagram and BOM list update.
- To source, select and purchase all the materials of mechanical components.
- To work with customers in defining the technical requirements on the assigned projects.
- Make sure all mechanical design & assembly is completed & correct before handling over for sequence run.
- Provide guidance and proper jigs & fixtures to perform calibration and alignments.
- Ensure the mechanical design integrates well with other sections by being involved heavily in the equipment assembly and integration testing.
- To train assembly and service support personnel on specific assembly module and technical application of machine standard components.
- To recommend the machine spare part and document in BOM list.
Robotic Engineer:
- Hands-on expertise in programming, deploying, and maintaining robotic systems in industrial applications.
- Design, develop and implement robotic programming, integration, and problem-solving across various platforms (e.g., ABB, Kuka, Fanuc, etc.)
- Knowledge in technical expertise, creativity, and leadership skills to deliver cutting-edge robotics solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy robotics solutions.
- Analyse system performance data and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance the accuracy of robotic systems.
- Actively contribute to the development of new applications and innovation within the company’s robotics portfolio.
Requirements:
- Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience in related field.
Special Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient and knowledgeable in using standard engineering product, material selection, and engineering calculation.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD & Solid Works, Knowledge in FMEA, DOE and Project Management.
- Hands on experience with industrial robots (ABB, Kuka, Fanuc, etc) including programming, integration and deployment.
- Knowledge of robotics control systems, automation protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, Profibus, Modbus), and system integration.
- Knowledge of simulation software for robotics (e.g., ABB RobotStudio, KUKA SimPro).
- Familiarity with general programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, or similar) and automation software (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW).
