Assistant Front Office Manager
RM 3,400 – RM 4,500 per month
Job Responsibilities:
Supervision of Front Desk Operations:
- Oversee daily operations of the front desk, ensuring smooth and efficient check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions.
- Assist in managing the front desk team, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive guest experience.
Guest Service Excellence:
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling guest inquiries, requests, and feedback with professionalism and care.
- Train and coach front desk staff to uphold high standards of guest service and communication.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and take proactive measures to enhance guest experience.
Team Management & Staff Training:
- Assist in scheduling front office staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to new hires, ensuring they understand their roles and hotel policies.
- Conduct performance reviews and recommend improvements to enhance team productivity.
Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure the front office area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor guest billing and payment processes to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in managing room availability, reservations, and room assignments.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and daily operational reports.
- Assist in preparing financial and operational reports for senior management.
- Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to resolve guest issues and ensure a seamless experience.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all front office procedures comply with safety and security standards.
- Stay informed about hotel policies and ensure staff is adhering to safety regulations and emergency protocols.
Special Projects and Event Coordination:
- Assist with the organization of special events, VIP guest arrangements, and group bookings.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met for meetings, events, or other special requests.
Assisting Front Office Manager:
- Assist the Front Office Manager in implementing operational policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Step in to lead the front office team in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
