Veer & Co. is seeking a talented Lawyer/Paralegal to join our dynamic team in Tampoi, Johor. As a Lawyer/Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support and assistance to our clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced legal professionals and contribute to the growth and success of our firm. 

What you'll be doing

• Conducting legal research and analysis to support our lawyers in preparing legal documents, contracts, and other client materials
• Assisting with the preparation and filing of court documents, including pleadings, motions, and other legal forms
• Organizing and maintaining client files and records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
• Communicating with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide updates on the status of their cases
• Collaborating with the legal team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of legal services
• Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lawyer/Paralegal in a law firm or legal department
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues
• Proficient in the use of legal research tools and software, such as case law databases and document management systems
• Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Collaborative team player with a commitment to providing exceptional client service
