Your new role
This position involves crafting and implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies tailored to various business segments. The successful candidate will be adept at analysing market trends to inform strategic decisions, managing diverse marketing campaigns, and overseeing both digital and external communications. Additionally, they will work closely with internal teams and external partners to strengthen and elevate the brand's presence in the market.
- Guide Strategy with Market Insights: Analyse market trends and industry insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Yearly Marketing Plans: Develop and implement annual marketing plans, covering pricing, product launches, and events.
- Communications Management: Oversee internal and external communications, including social media and website content.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical, finance, and operations teams.
- External Coordination: Coordinate with external partners such as customers, event organisers, and industry associations.
- Budget Oversight: Manage marketing budgets and ensure they align with strategic goals.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental and safety policies.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 6 years experience in marketing and communications, including digital marketing
- Experience of managing a team would be a plus.
- B2B Marketing experience with an understanding of the electrical, building infrastructure/ equivalent industries.
