Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial

  • Process payments and support financial-related matters for CSR programmes.

2. Customer

  • Identify, research, and engage potential strategic partners for CSR collaborations and initiatives.

3. Internal Processes

  • Lead and/or support the planning, coordination, and execution of selected CSR initiatives, including proposal development.
  • Draft and produce high-quality communication materials such as press releases, speeches, FAQs, talking points, and internal announcements.
  • Coordinate the compilation of CSR content for the Bank’s Annual Integrated Report, including photos, captions, and other relevant materials.
  • Develop and manage engaging CSR content for the Bank’s social media platforms and internal communication channels.
  • Regularly update and maintain CSR-related content on the corporate website.
  • Monitor and report CSR-related media coverage.
  • Manage and maintain the volunteer database and coordinate volunteer participation for various programmes.
  • Conduct due diligence on CSR-related stakeholders and vendors.
  • Provide administrative support including drafting letters, stock checks, and document processing.
  • Collaborate and support programmes organized by other departments within GHR, as and when needed.

4. Learning & Growth

  • Fulfill the required training hours/days as set by GHR.
  • Actively participate in workshops, training, and learning sessions relevant to CSR and communications.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, English, or any related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in CSR, Corporate Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing CSR programmes, including end-to-end event planning and emceeing.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, external branding, and media relations.
  • Exposure to public relations and internal communications tasks.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken (language proficiency will be assessed).
  • Excellent writing, branding, and storytelling skills, especially for social media and PR content.
  • Highly creative, proactive, and passionate about CSR, sustainability, community development, and employee engagement.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Competent in using design and editing tools (Adobe, Canva, etc.), basic photography/videography, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outgoing, confident, and comfortable engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and must possess own transport.
