- Project Draftsperson is to work closely and take direction from the Design Manager & Drafting Manager on all drafting work within Wagners CFT Australia.
- The Project Draftsperson will work on a variety of Pedestrian & Vehicular Infrastructure designs ensuring that Drafting is efficiently turned produced and accurately delivered to the appropriate client, consulting or internal engineer.
- Utilizing AutoCAD & Revit drafting you will overtime learn all elements of drafting within this role and have the opportunity to design unique and customized products for the division
- You will need to communicate clearly with the Design Manager & Drafting Manager as well as with the whole Projects team.
- To work in line with Wagners CFT objectives.
- Tertiary Studies or relevant qualification in Drafting Design or related disciplines
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience as a draftsperson in structural steel or related industry
- Experience using AutoCAD, Revit is a must, other 3D modelling software will be an added advantage
- Ability to visualize ideas in 3 dimensional form and translate into a 3D model
- Ability to use 2D & 3D modelling software
- Able to detail structures and produce respective workshop drawings
- Ability to produce tidy, accurate & structured workshop drawings
- Fluent level of Spoken and Written English and above average math skills
- Able to competently communicate with others
- Computer literate, familiar with MS Office applications – Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace environment and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and able to handle tight timelines.
- Fabrication experience is an added advantage.
- Must be willing to travel to Australia as and when required.
