Product Trainer

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop the competency and skill sets of retail sales teams to enhance customer communication strategies in the sales field.
  • Evaluate retail sales capabilities, product knowledge, and selling skills.
  • Build rapport and strong working relationships with the team.
  • Provide full cooperation in communicating and giving feedback on sales, stock, price, and service-related matters.
  • Consistently improve personal communication skills to conduct professional training sessions.
  • Acquire in-depth product knowledge and effectively convey it to the retail sales team.
  • Provide accurate product information to all target audiences.
  • Maintain a presentable and professional appearance during operational hours.
  • Provide feedback on market intelligence, promotions, and marketing activities.
  • Report both compliments and complaints regarding product, price, and promotions.
  • Offer insights on market demand to develop effective sales scripts.
  • Design assessment questions to evaluate retail sales product knowledge.
  • Participate in roadshows, events, or any sales-related activities.

 

Requirements:

  • Preferably holds a Diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
  • Candidates with exceptional skills and experience in retail training or sales, particularly in the Electronic & Electrical industry (e.g., mobile phones, laptops), are highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of tech-savvy products will be an added advantage.
  • Must be agile, presentable, responsible, customer service-oriented, self-disciplined, and goal-oriented.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, selling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate employees to achieve sales quotas.
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese; knowledge of local dialects will be an added advantage.
  • Able to travel within Sarawak.
  • Preferably aged between 28 - 35 years old.
