Technician
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair: Inspect, maintain and repair heating and cooling systems, covering mechanical, electrical and refrigeration components.
Respond and rectify: Be on call for system breakdowns, diagnose the root cause and restore operation quickly.
Preventive maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance and performance checks to keep client systems running optimally.
Installation and commissioning: Take part in installation, commissioning and acceptance tests, and oversee supplier and vendor work, ensuring performance is acceptable before handover.
Report and comply: Communicate system conditions clearly to customers and the internal team, keep accurate service and inventory records, and comply with Health & Safety and 5S requirements.
Key Requirements
Minimum certificate or diploma in a relevant technical or engineering field (e.g. air conditioning and refrigeration, mechanical, electrical). Higher qualifications are welcome.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in servicing, repair, installation and troubleshooting, with working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Experience in heating and cooling or HVAC systems is an added advantage.
Disciplined and able to work independently under pressure.
Willing to travel to sites nationwide, work overtime, stand by on call, and hold a valid driving license.
