How to become an Electrical Design Engineer
At least a diploma in engineering is required for the role. This is an entry-level job, but some experience is preferred.
- 1.Complete a diploma or degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering or another related field.
- 2.Register as a Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- 3.Gain three years of work experience including one year of professional career development training under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
- 4.Register as a Professional Engineer with the BEM.
- 5.Develop your project management skills.
