Hi, ada tak anyone yg pernah resign without securing a new job? Korang menyesal tak? I actually tengah plan nak berhenti kerja walaupun dah 6 tahun dkt company sekarang. Problem i is boss baru yg tak pandai lead, narcissist, pemalas & suka blame org lain for his mistakes. Since dia join last year, hidup i terus tak tenang sampai nk pergi kerja berdebar2 tiap hari. Life sgt busy, i x sempat nk cari kerja lain. Boleh ke i resign dulu? I ada 3 months saving. Sumpah i tak larat dh keje sini 😭

Bukan nak complaint tapi just nak meluahkan perasaan. Kenapa bila apply kerja di luar KL/Selangor, gaji mesti tak dapat yg setimpal dengan jawatan. Currently I'm earning about RM5k & planning to move back to Kelantan. I dh apply mcm2 kerja manager level, but gaji is only between RM3k-Rm4k maximum. I tak boleh nk dpt gaji yg sama pun dgn what I'm earning dkt sini BUT workload lagi byk dari apa yg i buat sekarang. With my experience of 7yrs, takkan I nk downgrade gaji? How can I earn same/more?

I’m a fresh grad and got a job offer (at least I think I did). After the interview, they asked for my documents, I filled up all the forms and everything felt super positive. But now it’s been a month… and no offer letter. 😅 I don’t know if I should follow up and ask. Or what if they didn't like me? I’m still applying other jobs, but part of me still hope I'll get this one. How do I ask them nicely after a whole month of silence from both sides (me and the company?) Do they still remember me?

inFresh Grad Wajib Tahu

Salah ke balik on time? Ya, i fresh grad, baru masuk kerja. But offer letter cakap kerja 8am-5pm only. I came on time, i finished my tasks of the day, so by 5pm i nak balik lah kan? But my manager said, they all normally stayed back until 7-8pm bcz they wanna avoid traffic jam & to sembang2. I was like?? Can't we just socialize during lunch time?? And masa interview takde cakap pulak kena OT/stayback. Now hari2 i TERPAKSA balik lambat. I'm SO ANNOYED. How do i balik on time now pls tell me!!

Got fired on my 1st day of job. Is this legal or can I fight for at least 1 month salary? Hello! I'm a fresh grad and just got hired last week. Unfortunately, due to some misunderstanding, my boss terminated me after working hour at 8PM. He sent a text saying that I'm not required to come to office tomorrow because I'm not the right person & they wish to proceed with another candidate. I tried to contact HR but to no avail. So I'm a bit confused. Am I being bullied or they can actually do this?

Perlu ke saya berhenti kerja sebab senior yg toxic? Saya baru dpt offer permanent position selepas 6 bulan under contract. Sepanjang 6 bulan bekerja, macam2 saya tahan dgn senior ni. Dia bukan manager pun tapi hari2 marah saya, benda kecik diperbesarkan, siap ugut nak report saya ke HR atas alasan yg x munasabah. Sy tak berani nk cerita dkt boss & hadap je sorang2. Sekarang boss dh extend offer, kena bagi jwpn dlm 2 minggu. Kalau accept, sy takut makin stress kerja dkt sini. Apa patut sy buat?

I regret choosing environmental science for my degree. It was my passion but in Malaysia, passion doesn’t pay. We spent years doing fieldwork, research, and lab work, only to end up with low-paying jobs and limited opportunities. Meanwhile, grads in business or marketing start with RM3.5k+ salaries. If you’re a student thinking of taking this path, think twice. Unless you become a policymaker or consultant, no one values your work here. I wish someone had warned me earlier. 😣

Salam everyone! I know my question is going to be a bit sensitive but I'm so curious! For those yang selalu tukar kerja, boleh share tak berapa banyak gaji korang naik every time korang tukar company? Kalau rasa segan nak share numbers, bagi percentage pun okay! Doesn't matter you tukar kerja from big or small companies, I just nak tahu whether the increment that you get worth it tak dengan kerja yang you kena buat? Dari segi workload, work-life balance, job satisfaction etc. Thanks in advance!
