An effective Marketing Executive also does extensive research about current trends to propel the business forward. How to become a Marketing Executive
A combination of a formal education and substantial experience is needed to have a successful career as a Marketing Executive.
- 1.Complete a bachelor degree in marketing, advertising or business. In these programs, you will learn how to plan, organise and mobilise marketing campaigns.
- 2.While pursuing a masters degree in business administration isn’t required, it can help boost your professional advancement to senior management and executive positions.
- 3.Get an entry-level position. You could start off as a sales representative, marketing assistant or purchasing agent.
- 4.Obtain certification. As a marketing professional, this will help you advance in your career and improve job prospects. Requirements for credentials will vary depending on the organisation.
