- Executing promotional campaigns by coordinating with various teams such as marketing, sales and public relations.
- Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of a product or service being promoted to effectively engage potential customers.
- Creating promotional materials such as flyers or swag items and distributing them at events or to potential customers.
- Monitoring and reporting the outcomes of promotional activities to understand their effectiveness and inform future actions.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders including clients, event planners and venue managers.
How to become a Promoter
To excel as a Promoter, you must possess strong interpersonal skills, an outgoing demeanor, and a knack for building relationships.
- 1.Meet the basic requirement of having a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) qualification. Consider earning a bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or business administration for future career advancement opportunities.
- 2.Gain practical experience by taking up part-time or freelance roles as a Promoter. This will provide you with hands-on experience in the field and help you develop relevant skills.
- 3.Focus on developing important skills such as effective communication, analytics, strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making.
