- Analysing test results and reporting these to relevant stakeholders.
- Developing new and improved test systems and processes for products and software.
- Coordinate with product design teams on test updates.
- Staying updated on new testing technologies and methodologies.
How to become a Quality Assurance Engineer
To become a Quality Assurance Engineer, you usually need a bachelor degree in information technology, computer information systems, computer science or a related field.
Graduate with a bachelor degree in information technology, computer information systems, computer science, computer engineering, data analysis, or a related course.
Gain a few years’ worth of experience in software quality assurance testing and security testing of iOS and Android applications.
Be well-versed in testing techniques like automated testing, regression testing, and UI testing.
Become proficient in the use of project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
After gaining experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, consider progressing to a role such as Business Analyst, Developer, or Manager.
