How to become a Structural Engineer
At least a degree in civil engineering is required for the role. Candidates registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) are preferred.
- 1.Graduate with a bachelor degree in civil engineering
- 2.Register as a Graduate Engineer with the BEM.
- 3.Gain three years of work experience including one year of professional career development training under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
- 4.Master 3D modeling softwares such as AutoCAD.
- 5.Register as a Professional Engineer with the BEM.
