    Learn a lot but stressful
The good thingsLearn a lot especially regarding supply chain knowledge but some project managers may put the customer's requirements as priority, which mean sometimes it is stressful for last minute requests, and we have to ensure we test everything as we are dealing with mission critical operations. But I must say that some of these last minute requests are important, so for me just head down and work to ensure the go live is smooth.
The challengesTime is always not enough, so there is a high chance that, literally there will be no life during system goes live time, as the entire project team needs to work through the weekend. But one good thing is that good management and they will not put us into lousy hotel, i stayed in Marriott hotel for 2 weeks for my last go live, and i love the hotel..haha...

    Learn, Learn and Learn
The good thingsA great place to learn supply chain knowledge, both technical and functional. There are many areas in supply chain for us to learn, the customers are usually big MNC companies, so there are high expectations on consultant quality. The company looks very serious in getting quality people, there is a 30-40 mins quiz in the interview and you need to pass it.
The challengesNone. I enjoy working here.

People in the industrial respect you
The good thingsYou have a lot of respects from the people in the industry. People treat you like an expert, even though i just joined for a few months. Everybody here work hard as it is mission critical software application.
The challengesNot much, i quite enjoy working here. I am young and have a lot to learn and the company is able to provide me the opportunities to learn in the supply chain industry.

    Good ride
The good thingsI had a chance to connect with more people in Asia, traveled frequently, have a chance to experience different cultures in different countries. The projects are usually sizable, which give me opportunities to meet some high level executives in some top companies, help to extend my people network. Good management and willing to listen.
The challengesThe company is too patient with non-performers. I had to run projects with tight deadline, and all people under the projects need to work together and need to be very independent. The non-performers have too many excuses, some complained that there are no training provided but there are more than 100+ hours of training videos which they do not even watch, perhaps some are not so young so they no longer want to learn. I want actions to be taken immediately, but company just give them too many chances.

A lot to learn, you need to be quite independent
The good thingsThere are a lot to learn, there are many training videos to watch. The software is huge, there are many ways to configure and it is very powerful, but complex. Those colleagues who worked many years already know the software quite well, so we can ask them, and they are willing to share.
The challengesYou need to be very independent in learning. Everyone is very busy, and everyone travels quite a lot. Also, the company expects you to learn, if you are not able to learn new technologies, software or skills, you will find it difficult to work here.

    Good experience
The good thingsThe company provides a lot of training, there are more than 100 hours of training videos to watch and learn from the videos. There are many training material available, so much to learn. There are experts in the company where you can ask them questions and they will answer, but they are all very busy with the projects, so need to grab their time, they are very helpful.
The challengesA lot of overseas projects, so sometimes need to travel a lot.
