    Too much workload, Too high expectations from top management, low perks
    The good thingsGood peers, colleagues, technicians. All share the same stress and understand each other's struggle. Able to learn about the need to follow IATF requirements in work.
    The challengesNo diversity in the management, means others will just stay the same level as only them will have vertical career development. Too much workload for Product type-Process engineers, with too high expectations, with unrealistically high KPI goals, bonus now relates to it too, so means foreseeing low bonus payout. Low benefits, medical coverage rm30/month, medical but very low coverage.

    The challengesOverworked. Disturbed by boss during off day or late night. No cooperation from production and if you work as a process engineer, then get ready to be push to the limit. Bare minimum benefits and they don't appreciate employees.

    Stress + Workload is very very challenging once you are capable of doing a bit of everything
    The good thingsTime flexibility for exec.
    The challengesToo much workload for junior execs. Daily production issues, improvement project, 6 sigma projects, sample submissions, root cause analysis, each and every process flow improvement plans, other departments improvement projects, other departments analysis. All by 1 person for multiple products. 30MYR medical coverage.

    I had spent in the human resource department had been a unique experience to me. It was an eye-opener to how real world task are dealt with and the exposure to both on-field and office work. Being in different units throughout the practicum course manages to teach me the different management skills, hard and soft skills that cannot be learned in class room.
    The good thingsThere are a lot of knowledge and experience that I gain through the period I was doing training at Acme Ferrite Products Sdn.Bhd. All the knowledge and experience that I gain here is so meaning full and helped me a lot. There are numerous skill I has developed throughout my training period. I have definitely improved in communication skills and as almost speaking with all level of staffs. I become mature in solving problems without blur and nervous to take an action and make me more confident to work in real working environment soon. Another skill I had got was interpersonal and conceptual skill, I had learned to work in team. This is taught me to work as a group and any condition. Helped each other and combined all work to be one. In conceptual skill, I learned how to analysed situation happened. Besides, experience during training also enables me to practice self-discipline in order to complete the task given to me within a specific duration and also increase my willingness to learn something new and also to gain new experience.
    The challengesIn the human resource department is that the person in charge did not well-prepared on what must a practical student’s do. They didn't have any proper structured program which contains the training task which will be performed by the trainee.

    The good thingsLearn a lot of matter from training, related to production control, statiscal process control, environmental, health and safety. Process flow, lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, cause and effect diagram and other lean related subjects.
    The challengesNeeded to study alot. Allocate more time to read the related journal, research, article, and more. Time management is crucial as work on project basid, time is valuable. Plan do check actions, is fundamental to do a project, thus got to plan well and do according to what have plabned.

    job in factory environment
    The good thingsI was guided and trained well. Although allowances and facilities are not that attractive but I got the chance to hands on many of the given assignments. Less bureaucracy makes the progress of project handling easier and can be completed in faster pace.
    The challengesFamily type of company. Less politics but still long serving staff do have some sense of seniority and would require great respect and better communication.
