Good exposure, great working environmentThe good thingsThe environment is warm and friendly, with colleagues occasionally going out of their way to help you clarify doubts. The fact that the company is quite small - coupled with people being approachable - means that, with a little effort on your part, you eventually get to know your colleagues in the office.
The initial training period covers plenty of topics and is very helpful. You might get exposure to lots of new technologies and software, so prepare to learn and ask questions. This applies also to day-to-day work experience; be receptive to feedback and criticism, and take everything as an opportunity to learn, including making mistakes!
Additionally, the inclusion of workshops covers extra learning topics, and occasional get-togethers make for fun ways to relieve stress.
The challengesA better sense of time could be beneficial. Meetings sometimes took longer than expected due to discussions going off-topic, or organisers underestimating durations, leading to unforeseen OT hours. Workplace communication could also do with more professionalism in aspects like presentations and project update sessions.
