I’m grateful for the opportunity and for making me feel that I truly belong here
The good thingsMy IE department manager has taught me a lot of knowledge during my working time here, my colleagues also very helpful and understanding, not to forgot others department such as EHS and Sheet Metal. I'm grateful for my first experience as a fresh graduate here, thank you for giving me the chances to prove my skills here. I left not because the environment, but I left to pursue my goals, I hope we all can cross path once again. Thank you Alton
The challengesNothing is perfect, but I know that Alton is improving day by day, as for that reason, the challenges that I encounter while working here is that it lacks the initiative to standardize certain processes, which sometimes leads to inconsistency and confusion during daily operations. In addition, communication between departments can be further improved to ensure smoother workflow and reduce delays. With better coordination and clearer SOPs, I believe the overall efficiency and working experience can be enhanced.

Overall, friendly environment, good facilities, growth opportunities, improving internal processes.
The good things1. The company is quite large, with a good working environment and very new facilities and equipment. There are many departments and employees, and most colleagues are friendly and supportive. The management team is approachable and easy to talk to. 2. The company provides free accommodation, and the living conditions are quite decent. Free meals are also available, and the cafeteria is located very close to the workplace, which makes it very convenient for daily meals. In addition, free parking is provided, making commuting easy for employees who drive. 3. As a relatively new company, there are many opportunities to get involved in different areas of work and be exposed to new things. The job scope can be quite diverse and challenging, which can bring a good sense of achievement.
The challenges1. The company is located in a new industrial park, and the location is relatively remote. Commuting can be inconvenient if you do not have your own vehicle. However, the roads leading to the company are gradually improving. 2. Since the company is still developing, some internal processes are not yet fully established. Employees may encounter situations that are not covered by existing SOPs, which requires flexibility and adaptability. On the positive side, this also gives employees the opportunity to help establish or improve new SOPs. 3. The main office building has not yet been officially put into operation, so the current office locations are somewhat dispersed rather than centralized.

Most importantly, the working environment is good and the colleagues are friendly and supportive.
The good thingsOur company has a positive working culture with supportive and friendly colleagues. In addition, meals are provided by the company for employees.
The challengesCurrently, the company is located quite far from the city, so it may be less convenient to purchase daily necessities. However, there is a small shop nearby to support employees staying here.

I appreciate being part of the team and the opportunities to learn and contribute.
The good things- Collaborative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing. - Supportive management that provides guidance when needed.
The challenges- Some processes could be streamlined for efficiency. - Most of the documents are in Mandarin, so translation is often required.

Rapidly expanding manufacturing firm with exceptional compensation
The good thingsHighly competitive salary package that stands above the market average. Excellent employee benefits, including free company-provided accommodation and three meals daily, which significantly reduces living costs. A company on a robust upward trajectory—ideal for those who want to be part of a pioneering team and grow with the business.
The challengesAs the company is in its early rapid expansion phase, internal processes and systems are still being refined. Current systems are predominantly in Mandarin, which may require an adjustment period for non-Mandarin speakers.

Salary and role did not match what was advertised, with little structure for new hires.
The good thingsThe only positive aspect was the opportunity to briefly observe different departments, which gave a high-level view of how the company operates. Some colleagues were polite on a personal level, and the work environment itself was not physically demanding.
The challengesThe role and expectations were unclear from the first day. There was no structured onboarding, training plan, or defined scope of responsibilities. Tasks felt ad-hoc and were assigned mainly to “fill time” rather than contribute meaningfully. The job advertisement stated a salary range of RM5,000–RM7,000, but the actual offer was significantly lower, and I later learned that other team members were offered similar amounts. This created a strong sense of mismatch between what was advertised and the reality. Additionally, the working environment appeared unstable, as multiple employees were already serving notice during my first week. Systems and tools were inconsistent, including internal systems heavily reliant on Mandarin, which was not communicated during the hiring process. Overall, the company seemed unprepared for new hires and still in a transition phase, which made it difficult to perform effectively or feel confident in the role.

I can give 4.5 out of 5 stars for this company.
The good thingsI have just started this jobs few weeks ago, everything goes well! Colleague are friendly and there are a lot of learning opportunity. They are willing to provide high salary package , you can ask for more salary than the usual market. There are hostel provided. They do hire all races even though this is China company.
The challengesAll documents in Mandarin. Local Staff (non-Mandarin speaker) might need to use ChatGpt or other app to help in translation.
