    Weak management, efforts are not matched by the environment, practices and level of accountability
    The good thingsLess stressful when there is enough staffing. Not so busy oncall. There are non peak and peak season too. Can learn very specific orthopaedic and spine knowledges.
    The challengesInadequate staff as there are always staff which always take EL and no disciplinary action taken. Weak management. Too yes minded. Radiographer are not appreciated.

    The challengesGood if have canteen or cafe with with staff benefits, as it's hard to find proper food inside the hospital.

    The good thingsVery small team but helpful.
    The challengesEmployee not appreciated although working for almost 10 hours daily and on weekends. No events or activities for staff and very mundane office job. High turnover, no stability, top management has no concern for staffs and there is no proper system for claims & travel expensive.

    Well established (5 star) medical center
    The good thingsOne stop medical center. In 1 level, there are consist of almost department there which are laboratory, phlebotomy bay, tredmill room for stress test, medical imaging, catheterization laboratory or cath lab, doctors room, recover room and last but not least OGDS/Endoscopy room. There are also single bedded room consist of 9 rooms for unstable patient after angiogram/angioplasty that need observation from doctor and nurse located at the level 5 of the building.
    The challengesLearn the management side as here nurse need to indent medication or medical equipment by ourselves with supervision by nurse manager in the probation period. As the patient commonly from Japan and Indonesia, we should know how to speak English well and it must be routine to apply English language in the working life

    My review
    The good thingsThe most enjoyable thing is i'm able to improve my english. Most of my colleague are foreigner. So i have to train my mother tongue from speaking malay to english. Besides, i really respect and look up to my manager. She is a chinese but really understand malay culture, malay do's and dont's which is hard to find that kind of person right now.
    The challengesFor me, the biggest thing to be better is to arrange some activities for staff. As a staff, we dont need big, extravagant event, enough with monthly activities like birthday bash, going up for dinner, bowling, movies. Things like this will make your staff feel appreciated. We feel worth it working for like 9.5 hours a day. and it will improve communication too.
