    Proceed with caution for full time positions and big no for contractor positions.
    The good thingsSalary is bit higher than in market, to fish you in.
    The challengesDon't ever join AMD as contractor, you will be getting 2nd class treatment compared to full timer, and the promise to be converted are just for those that suck up to the manager. Contractor position are so disposable, one day you still see your colleague another they are no longer there...

    Stressful. Cannot work for long term.
    The good thingsSalary was ok. Other than that nothing much to say.
    The challengesNo work life balance. Very stressful. The Superior is not supportive and very pushy. No proper training. Work starts at 8am but have to work until 8pm, sometimes 9pm because lack of headcount to support. A lot of meetings to attend and not enough time to complete the work.

    Good Starting Point for Fresh Graduate!
    The good thingsGood boss, provides really good support for fresh graduate. Colleagues really friendly. Free unlimited drinks and cheap snacks vending machine available in building.
    The challengesPayscale for freshies are not balanced. Of course the one in IT usually got pay more due to nature of companies. Only can treat company as stepping stone because no potential to go further due to cost down restriction.

    The good things- Free hot and cold beverages at the pantry - Heavily subsidised snacks, eg, cream bread at 30 sen - The working hours is flexible and people will not complain if you are not seen in the office, as long as you are contactable
    The challenges- Working with colleagues in different time zone means that few times a week you have to join the audio meeting at odd hours, eg. 12 midnight or 1 AM
