    Good approach in enhancing selling skills but the pressure from few bosses is quite unbearable
    The good thingsTraining is given, accommodation, claims. Recognition if you perform well. Salary depends on your monthly target. The more you ask the higher your target. Insurance licences such as PCE and CEILLI few cost is on company. so you could save your money.
    The challengesThe monthly target are carried foward. Snowball. So if you dont reach your target it will become higher and higher. Got RM, BM, SM. All these bosses are so fussy and will scold you if you dont hit your target during meeting every month.

    The good thingsAlways get support from my immediate supervisor which gave me a lot of exposure and encourage me to think and perform out of my comfort zone. I was given full authority to make my own decision as long it gave the benefits to the company.

SOP not clarify as the system error, staff to handle system error meanwhile to meet TAT 8 Working days and also to meet customer satisfaction. need to answers same question to the various channel (customer, agent, branch, DOA, customer service, Aegis). make staff less efficiency in focusing work.

    Used to be a better workplace during AmLife era, not under AmMetLife.
    The good thingsOffice is located at Nu Sentral, easy public transport & shopping convenience. Good support from regional office (Hong Kong) and global group (MetLife New York).
    The challengesIt was a good place to work after CEO Paul Low was appointed as CEO in year 2012 and the business & and staff growth were progressing well. However, after AmMetLife's new senior management came, most of the AmLife management left. The new Senior Management team headcount doubled from 8 HOD in year 2014 (under AmLife) to at least 16 new HOD in year 2015-2016 (under AmMetLife) despite their \"so-so\" revenue. As a result, budget squeezed, a chunk of staff were retrenched in Oct 2015 (with compensation) and the new senior management team brought in their \"preferred\" managers and executives fom their previous barns. It was messy and After realising their hasty mistake on staff retrenchment, they rehired again some of the skilled staff (who can literally do work) with more expensive contract (Imagine the cost). Many competant staff during AmLife's era under CEO Paul Low (Ex-CEO of AmLife) left. I survived the retrenchment period but very sad to see what had happened to the company today. No longer a good workplace and many were still demoticated. They should have retrenched some of the highly paid new HODs instead, who brings no value to the company until today. Business is not improving. AmLife did so much better (AmLife - better revenue, growth, bonus, work environment & intrinsic value).

    The challenges1. cost cutting. even RM0.01 also want to negotiate with vendor 2. the sales channels need to beef up. hence topline are challenging 3. certain things no proper planning though in ill position. once implemented might has big issue. 4. regional office has too much intervention on local business. yet the regional office has little knowledge on local market.
