    Messy Company and learning curve
The good thingsSmall team, so everyone from the boss to the staff are very friendly
The challengesA lot of things are messy. You are expected to learn on your own. And if you make a mistake, you get penalised.

    Unrealistic expectations, failing culture
The good thingsColleagues were helpful and there was no much politics internally. Everyone got along well.
The challengesManagement is all over the place. The boss has unrealistic expectations, build on a culture of distrust. No proper work structure and flow. Not aware nor sensitive to market changes and needs, constantly living in a bubble that "our product/platform is still the best".

    Good for work life balance
The good thingsThe colleagues were great, I enjoyed the bonding we had together. The office has quite an extensive equipment such as massage chair, ping pong table, TV and bean bag for us to use anytime. Free coffee and tea.
The challengesThe top management should improve their communication because there are times the instruction can't be conveyed properly because of this reason

No sales experience to well groomed sales
The good thingsI joined the company 3 years ago with no sales experience. Training was hard, expectation too. But i gained alot of good contacts and salesmanship skill along the way. BTW, this company pays the best commission within the industry
The challengeswhen in sales, we have to chase for the target. stress moments will be there. but they pay highest commission in the industry

    Best Place for Growth
The good thingsGet to work both on print and digital which leads to expanding my knowledge in techniques of designing. Good work-life balance here. Easier to get things done when its a small-medium company. Nice colleagues who will guide you along the way if you have any problems or need to ask any questions.
The challengesGetting approvals for collaterals take some time.

A great company if you know what you're doing
The good thingsEditorial Side: 1. Relatively high salary compared to my peers in the same industry 2. Benefits offered are quite lucrative 3. Have the chance to meet, network and learn from industry leaders and influential people. 4. You are compensated fairly according to the value you add to the company. 5. 70% effort most of the time. Not too stressful, but enough challenge to push yourself outside of your comfort zone.
The challenges1. The company runs a tight ship, so be prepared to hold additional responsibilities. 2. You need to learn how to play ball and compromise in order for work to go smoothly (Same goes with most companies, but more so in this one) 3. You generally have to be outspoken in order to reap most benefits.

Good place for exposure & networking
The good thingsIts a media cum event company, hence people who work here got the chance to meet a lot of people especially those in the property industry and also entrepreneurs. This applies to marketing and also sales team. People who work here can work closely with head of department. This shows that people who work here can learn learn a lot directly with the top management.
The challengesPoor management, the benefits for employees is rather unsatisfying.
