    Good experience, low salary
The good thingsGood experience as you will be trained as multitasker and perform various task. The place for those who hunger for experience or fresh graduate. Good teamwork. Health benefit for staff also good as AAT is a MARA's subsidiary (health insurance, outpatient, etc)
The challengesPermanently contract. Lower than average income (not standardized) regardless high education level or high experience level. The salary determined by the HR's discretion. Heavy workload with few team player. Not enough tools and insufficient manpower. And be remind that you will be working under manager not leader.

Trainee Technician at Asia AeroTechnics SDN. BHD
The good thingsFriendly working environment. Everyone here is willing to teach and share their knowledge. it is the best work place to train your skills. Asia AeroTechnics could be one of the biggest MRO in Malaysia.
The challengesThe Hangar Operation is very busy with Aeroplane that needs attentions. The task took a lot longer to finish due to small number of Technician. Asia AeroTechnics should hire more Technician for the future of these company.

It's a handful, but manageable with the right strategy
The good thingsThe salary increment programme runs well so far. It can improve by adding on incentives for the excess hours spent at work.
The challengesThe hours as well as the staff compensation programme for the excess hours could and should be improved to match our competitors. This could, be an incentive for employees to stay on.

    6-month of quality internship
The good thingsfirst of all, the staff are so friendly to the internship students. they also taught us many things that we cant get during our studies in university. to be honest my 6 month on job training here are full with experience on working with live aircraft. the supervisor such he foreman, project manager and LAE's are also shared with us many knowledge as they are the senior person in aviation industries.
The challengesthe company is lack of staff as the schedule is so pack and aircraft keep on coming to be service. lack of staff could lead to overworked and thus lead to stress.

    Learnt a lot here!
The good thingsThe company structured our on-job training experience perfectly. We get to experience the workflow and how each operations department work and how they actually supports each other. Every morning, we would be debriefed on what the agenda today, either a C check or A4 check for line 3 or line 4. We get to choose which work we want to be included. The employees here are really helpful in educating us. We are grateful for that.
The challengesThe company is still new. Hence, the equipment aren't all there yet. Renting from other companies sometimes might save the cost on buying the equipment, but it really is time consuming as the lender might still be using the equipment. Thus, waiting for them to finish is our only option.

    teaching
The good thingsI enjoyed working as instructor and teach aviation maintenance student. I have been teaching avionics subject for 2 years and prepared the teaching materials on Microsoft Power Point. At the same time the company sent me a lot of training to improve my teaching skills and presentation skills.
The challengesI have found my self difficult to handle student when I was given new subject to teach. But I managed to handle it well when I studied a lot and do practical at the same time. Another challenges was when I prepared the exam questions for student. I have to create easy question to hard question to make sure the exam paper balance according to the subject.
