    My experience in paper mill industry
    The good thingsFacilities like AC, toilet, surau, canteen( food is good), are awesome. Employee welfare is good like morning&tea break, panel clinic, allowances like stay back, callback, OT, however low salary. Workload is average.
    The challengesBefore you accepting job here, be careful with salary advertised, they might offer you rm1000 lower. Ageing equipment should be upgrade. PPE is provided when stock last.

    The good thingsknowledge about boiler and water treatment plant. how to do preventive maintenance on critical equipment. involved in Kaizen project. hands on knowledge by following and helping technicians.
    The challengesweak management. less rest time. takes a lot of time to process a PR. delay of buying spare items.

    The challenges-Newsprint will be obsolete one day. -Company try to push to manufacturing others product like note book,exercise book, food wrapping. -lot of challenge to improve machine & People. -bad market -company want to cut down man power. slim the organisation. Termination.

    Good Internship for 5 month
    The good thingsStaff willing to share knowledge with student. Student was given opportunity to do the same job as staff with supervision. Nice canteen. Rotation available for student to learn across department. Friendly staff. Nice shaded parking as staff benefit. Staff is happy with their task. Employer & Employee respect each other. Nice meeting room. Good housekeeping.
    The challengesLack of proper plan for student to do internship here. Lunch time is limited for 1 hour Staff not really applying Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) inside the field especially the ear plug. The field is noisy and above 85dB that can endanger human ear. Unsafe Act and Unsafe Condition finding by staff is still not in practice. Safety job is rely of Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) department instead of all staff.
