    Life in Assab
    The good thingsIts a MNC with local touch , people are closed to each other willing to help & assist . Minimal office politics (I cannot say totally no). Chance to go oversea for filed study , exhibition etc. Yearly sales kick off trips and performance bonus. Overall a big happy family made up with all races.
    The challengesBecause my deployment is a as branch manager to a newly setup branch , my biggest challenge is always making the branch profitable as new premise , new equipment not yet fully depreciated ,P & L is always near red.

    A little Austrian Outpost in Batu Caves.
    The good thingsThe company was well tightly run and is actually an Austrian MNC but without the bureaucracy. Management staff are all localized and staff are generally treated well and rewarded in they perform..
    The challengesThe company is in a very challenging stagnant market with new competition coming so its difficult to maintain market leadership.

    The Beginner Me
    The good thingsI was Lucky to have a good manager to thought me everything as i was fresh graduate and this is my 1st jobs. I able to learn what is sales is all about and build a strong relationship with your customers is very important. A good salesperson not only know how to sales his/her product but must also need know to collect the payment. I was given a chance to be more independent and responsible.
    The challengesDuring my 5 year employment, i have work under 4 different manager as they founds a better opportunity. As salesperson we find a lot of difficulty as manager come and go, we have no clear direction, and have to accommodate different working style from different manager.
