    Very poor management
The good thingsIf you're lucky you'll report to a line manager who has knowledge of what he/she is doing. Most of the time managers are clueless.
The challengesPoor management and constant people movement. Knowledge is not retained and new joiners and management are clueless on how to operate.

    Nothing good about working here
The good thingsIf you like to work in stressful and challenging working environment with little rest, this is the perfect place.
The challenges(Applies to FP&A team) Turnover is very high because of no work life balance. Managers don't care if you are sick or what, they just want the result to be delivered. Usually have to change your day off again and again because there is no down time for you to rest. No backup in the team hence when one man down, no one can cover for him/her. Poor management skills, no individual development because the managers were so busy with their own deliverables. Only basic benefits. Many MNCs could offer better than BAT.

Good Place To Learn and Work
The good thingsThe upper staff will help you with your first hands-on on the system. They will have a one-to-one session with their employees and consider job rotation. So, will be more learning and also understanding more about the shared service.
The challengesNo doubt that this is the best offer I got because it is a permanent position!

    Awesome
The good thingsBAT Aspac always had team building which is good to build good relationship between staff and this will ensure a great teamwork. Some more they also had many things to celebrate to can encourage staff to work more efficient because.
The challengesStaff are coming from all over the world and this might occurs some culture issue. Hence to avoid any misunderstanding between staff company should arrange more training or talks about culture to ensure that everybody alert with cultural and not doing something beyond that.

    Good Working Environment
The good thingsGood working culture, lot of events happening, well paid & rewards
The challengesSince it's a Shared Services - Limitation to explore/learn. - Some unqualified supervisor/leader. - SOP unclear & sometimes no applicable. - Higher level Management ignored issues as long as things are done. - Always a work around & no proper solution.

The good thingsGlobal Exposure in terms of working environment and very strong culture of getting things done. Remuneration package is good and opportunities to move abroad is available provided you are worth the investment.
The challengesRequirements are very high and you are expected to perform and deliver at every step of the way. Not a place for slackers.
