For a SPM leaver at that time, it really developed my communication skills and a medium of exposure to the real world.
The good thingsThe environment is absolutely calm, the way the flow of process before stock arriving and assembling are neat and simple. The customers are always so talkactive and I did learnt a lot from the customers and colleagues.
The challengesLanguage barrier with the customers, as some of them are heavily influenced with Cantonese and that I cant speak any of it except for basic words that I had picked up over time

    highly recommended
The good thingsPreviously i was lead by a good manager, supervisors and colleague who willing to provide me a full guidance in doing a new task, we able to work in a team and create less stress working environment. I also took this opportunity to thank them for selecting me and perform a job which i had never done before. I able to met different people and deal with different suppliers from my department to enhance my corporate communication.
The challengescorporation between different departments, management should be better. Otherwise nothing much to complain as i only worked 3 months there.

    Working Environment & Culture
The good thingsGreat training and exposure at the first two months, experience in store opening and mainstream footwear retail are awesome. Learned how to measure the business performance in many dimension, aged Point of Sales still able to generate a detail sales report.
The challengesPoor work life balance, almost 24 hours on call, poor support from other departments, hidden terms in the appointment letter (JD & JS), individual initiative is not appreciated apart from sales performance, poor individual evaluation system, sales incentive is difficult to be achieved due to extremely high target.

    Working Environment
The good thingsSuperior guide you during the beginning, everything was balance, later part the company did not evaluate properly and misuse the employee to serve/troubleshooting any type of general operation issue, thus the management has introduced many reporting channel and excels so called visitation report but more to checking on you. Work life balance is zero here and many old school employees are bias.
The challengesNo work life balance, confusing company direction, contribution apart from sales is not being appreciated, poor evaluation system and lots of hidden terms in the contract (appointment letter). Incentive target is very challenging to be achieved.

The challengesStore operation at KLIA2 from 6morning to 12night ,i had a couple of times a month to work up to 18 hour, overnight at KLIA2 because of the demand of the schedule or due to lack staff and effect the weekly offday.I am proud to my assistant store manager even though he did not receive payment for the work more time but he gave high commitment and responsibility..
