A stable company with good working environment.
The good thingsWorking relationship with colleagues across platform in the company is generally very good. A stable company even in tumultuous time. The managements are quite receptive to ideas and feedback. Your hard work will be recognized.
The challengesThe way the organization functions means there will be some delay in the approval of things. As such, there is a lack of career development opportunity. It mostly plays catch-up rather that lead the pack.

    Market Access Head
    Jun 2015
1 to 2 years in the role, current employee
Great place to work but as usual sales and product managers can find it stressful
The good thingsTrue empowerment and you are in charge of the projects Mid sized companies with lean structure, easy to get job done Very little politics even in management team (except for power trip BU head) Good bonuses Fun collaborative working style
The challengesDepending on the business unit you report to, some heads can railroad your plans and bulldoze things to get it their way Below average holidays and salary (make sure you negotiate fiercely before joining) PMs are often stretched Very young team- can be frustrating sometimes (and they treat you like you are the old fool)

    People oriented employer
The good thingsGood career progression, talent retention and development is great, honest and transparent communication, people oriented, seek opinion and feedbacks from all level, good working environment, structured salary band
The challengesComplicated processes, prioritize compliance over business, too many support function vs commercial team, no distinct reward for high achievers, too many restructuring in short period of time, low investment to drive sales

    Work process
The good things1) Implementation of improvement to work procedures/ processes with introduction of efficient telecommunication system for calls to colleagues worldwide via telephone, PC, internal messaging systems. 2) Increasing level of compliance to applicable international guidelines, best practices, quality standards, by phase 3) Open communication with Regional and Global colleagues worldwide
The challenges1) Opportunities for career development needs to obtain Supervisor approval - improvement should be made where career development should not be hindered by non-approval from Supervisor 2) Laying off of employee is done actively, particularly for long term employees, causing demotivation among employees 3) Too many responsibilities (1 person with 3 persons responsibilities) to handle
