    The challengesManager dont have firm decision, always change last minutes, bias, and even dont understand the difficulty of their staff. Peers not have teamwork spirit. Not teach to newcomers. Training to new staff not provided. Manager dont care at all

    Great Environment, Great Experience
    The good thingsThough I have been here as a trainee only, I learnt a lot from their engineers and management staff. They have a great working environment and helpful workers who really helped me in unleashing my full potential.
    The challengesWhen I was a trainee here, I was assigned to three different department. I had a great experience working and learning in the production and lean departments but I wish I were given more exposure on technical department.

    The good thingsWe have good investment in IT and equipped with latest manufacturing software to perform our jobs. WIFI is free access to all in the Company. We work 5 days week and if public holiday falls on a Saturday, we will get one day credited to our annual leave. Generally there is no limitation to the usage of internet for work purpose. Practice good communication via webcast, town hall & toolbox meetings
    The challengesSalary of non Management staff is low, annual increment range from 0-5% at the maximum. There is no prospect of moving up the career ladder. 95% of Top Management have been holding their position for more than 10 years, They will not leave ( unless forced to ) to make way for new blood. Top management sill consist expatriates which adds heavy burden to current cost Management.

    The good thingsWork scope rotation with peers, allowing good knowledge of the business. Operations personnel get the knowhow of RND, Marketing, Finance/HR.
    The challengesOutdated processes technologies resulted in relying more on direct labour. The organization struggled to keep direct labour stable. Furthermore, customer find that labour is cheaper in China (abundant) and Vietnam.

    Good but no way up the ladder
    The good thingsOur IT facilities and support are close to world class. We have the right IT tools to do our work efficiently. We have one of the best business softwares in SAP. We are given free access to e-mails,internet and Skype. We have a structured flow and approach when faced with materials' cost ups and downs and communicating them to the customers. Teamwork is very much alive and working well here.
    The challengesThe Company skimp on providing training to her Employees. Many times, our requests for go for external trainings are rejected by HR. The other downside is there is no opportunity to move up the Corporate Ladder here as more than 90% of the current Management Team have been working more than 20 years here and they are not about to leave to make way for younger generation.
