The challengesMain preference for promotion and higher position is for ex-RMN retirees. Civilians treated like 2nd class workers and their opinion will be overshadow by this people. Lack of direction when comes to financial & technical decision making.

The good thingsGood start for a fresh graduate. Good hands on experience. Good for people to learn more about naval vessel.
The challengesThe salary is not balance. The workload is not balance. Some unit doing most of the works and liability but yet very little recognition. Most of the projects are from Government and Naval Vessel hence the communication during in the project are with government officers and Admirals.

Not really a good place for gaining experience
The good thingsStaffs are very supportive to each other but that only applies to the low to mid level staffs. Good place for interns to get directly involved in the mega project.
The challengesLack of decision maker, the hierarchy is also messed up. Worst thing is the design team are incompetent thus becoming the stumbling block for entire project. No coordination and teamwork inter department, causing miscommunication on every level of workers.

It is a good start to work in corporate but not good to stay long.
The good things1. Learn and hands on many things including your leader task as your leader always has to be handling the client.
2. Learn to be immune to sarcasm and scoldings because the solution to any difficult situation is by yelling and scolding regardless of location and occasion.
3. Good place to stay if you are looking for permanent position and not looking for career growth.
4. Good place to just doing routine work and not expecting new tasks or changes.
The challenges1. The company has limitation in the the nurturing programme. The staff cannot expect grooming and training to increase their skills.
2. The culture here do not favor those who only work hard. Extreme situation in which some do nothing at all and some have to work overtime just to get things done. The capable will be burdened with tasks while other will enjoy their sweet time as long as they are in favor of the management.
3. Not a company that appreciate ideas. The staff can propose many ideas but it will always sink to the bottom of the sea as it has no value added to the management or required hard work and time.
