One of the best MNCs that I've worked with but just too many tools/applications and too many VPs.
The good thingsFlexible working arrangement, diverse team dynamics with opportunities to work/interact with global colleagues and attractive remuneration package.
The challengesFluid and constant re-organization, coupled with multi-layered resulting in too many stakeholders at global, regional and local levels. Too many tools and applications, sometimes a bit too much.

Promising energy company with bright future ahead
The good thingsreimagining the way the company deliver energy to the world. No longer reliant on fossil fuel, BP embarked in various projects within the renewable realm in order to stay relevant
The challengesSince the world is changing, the demand for fossil fuel also fluctuate. BP has to adapt to these change and in doing so, theres a lot of grey area or uncharted territory that the current employees have to explore

Enriching journey with a company that is gradually moving from a traditional oil and gas company to an integrated energy company
The good thingsOpportunity to work on global engagements and tasks liaising with professionals from various specialties and getting involved in various businesses within the upstream, downstream and integrated supply trading has truly been an enriching and exciting experience.
The challengesTransitioning from a traditional oil and gas company into an integrated energy company would inevitably involve a major shift in the direction the company is heading and it is unclear how receptive are markets to this shift.

    Amazing
The good thingsI just love the working environment here. Feels so comfortable, people here are kind and friendly. Everything is convenient. Work space is comfortable. You get to experience a lot of new things, ideas, knowledge along with BP and its plans for its company. As an intern, it was definitely an eye opening experience. Got to learn a lot about my job.
The challengesDifficult to move your position up or develop your career as this is a big oil and gas company.

BP has shaped who I am today.
The good thingsBP provides a very healthy working environment for employees with sufficient supports. There is not much office politic noted throughout my years in this company. As long as one is willing to learn, there is much to explore.
The challengesIt can be pretty stressful working in this company especially when meeting deadlines. However, with supportive counterparts, things become much manageable and the said stress is actually a positive one for one's better exposure.

It all depends on your line manager
The good thingsUsed to love working here because of the flexibility, trust the boss gives us... Company cares for employees ie safety etc.
The challengesThe challenges includes OT nearly everyday due to overloading existing staff. Sometimes, need to work 2 shifts, which in safety and health perspective, it is no good for the employee's health. Indirectly, they have violate their own values and beliefs.

    High Salary with no Future
The good thingsSalary is very high in the market. Free flow of coffee and biscuit Got driver to take you to work if you work on night shift. Give good night shift allowance.
The challengesVery difficult to work with the difficult people if your boss did not support you. You need to re-learn the purchasing roles as customer service and it is another industry which very difference from what is out there. Expect to run with shark first day at work no honeymoon.
